JacketsSPRAYWAY PHAON

We have all been caught in those sudden downpours, the ones that you think might last a few minutes, but then you notice those heavy clouds that keep rumbling across the fells. To cope, you need a high performance jacket which is easily accessible and, of course, will cope with the situation. Check out Sprayway’s Phaon, a 2.5 layer Hydro/Dry Plus hill jacket which has all the features you need for just such a situation, including a fixed two-way adjustable, wire peaked hood with roll-away feature, two good sized, mesh lined venting/storage pockets, drawcord adjustable hem, zipped security pocket, and a stuff sac for easy access, packing and storage. Waterproof, windproof and breathable, the Phaon has a decent back length of 74cm (size medium), so it shouldn’t ruffle up under a backpack. The jacket is available in four different colours, and has a decent price tag, too. £109,99, www.sprayway.com
