Welsh Rastafarian executive chef Craig Jones from Cap Maison’s fine-dining restaurant The Cliff at Cap is due to welcome head chef Simon McKenzie from the five-star Old Government House Hotel & Spa, Guernsey, into his kitchen next month
Simon McKenzie will be taking a taste of Guernsey to the Saint Lucian sunshine as part of the Guernsey International Food Festival, and his menu will include tuna sashimi, BBQ pineapple, chilli and shallots plus pork belly, confit rock lobster with fennel and lemon.
On Friday 24 February at The Naked Fisherman, guests will be treated to an a la carte menu with separate dishes from each chef. On Saturday 25th February there will be a collaborative menu on offer at The Cliff at Cap. The duo will create an elaborate island-inspired menu with a specific focus on seafood, finished off with Cap Maison’s solera-blended rum.
The a la carte menu at The Naked Fisherman on Friday 24th February will be priced per dish.
