LOVE LOCH LOMOND members, Cruise Loch Lomond has joined forces with Linssen Boating Holidays. to announce a new cruising experience on Loch Lomond for 2016 and promote Scotland’s marine tourism.
Loch Lomond, which is at the heart of Scotland’s first National Park and the largest expanse of freshwater in Britain, will be the first Scottish destination for Linssen Boating Holidays.
The vessel ‘Aries’, a Linssen Grand Sturdy 36.9 motor cruiser, will be based at Cameron House Marina. The vessel will be available for 3, 4 and 7 night charters, sleeping 4 (+2) and will offer guests the chance to explore many of the island gems in the Loch Lomond crown, as well as the opportunity to visit nearby and lochside restaurants, pubs and attractions.
The launch of ‘Loch Lomond Boating Holidays’ coincides with the Scottish Government’s strategic framework for Scotland’s marine tourism sector. The strategy, ‘Awakening the Giant’, outlines the potential opportunities to grow Scotland’s reputation as a world-class marine tourism destination on both coastal and inland waterways in and around Scotland.
Dr Mike Cantlay, Chairman of VisitScotland, has stressed the opportunity this new venture provides for Loch Lomond and the surrounding businesses, as well as the significant role stakeholders can play in providing an authentic and memorable experience for visitors.
