Rustic elegance meets modern comfort

After a busy day exploring, step into the comfort of your own private eco-friendly log cabin – where rustic elegance meets modern comfort. For you can expect 1898 on the outside, and 2013 on the inside. Klondike Kate’s Cabins are situated in the heart of historic Dawson City, just steps away from all the famous Klondike Gold Rush sights.

In 1997, Josee Savard and partner Philippe Lamarche built six new log cabins, and three years later they retrofitted all the original nine cabins. With seasonally opening from April to September, all cabins are non-smoking with a private bathroom supplied with Yukon-made organic soaps and shampoos, and plush bamboo and/or cotton towels. Guests enjoy allergy-free memory foam beds and luxuriously soft linens.

Other amenities include coffee maker, cable TV, telephone with voicemail, and free wi-fi Internet access. Microwave and fridge are supplied in all queen bed cabins. One of the cabins is a suite with complete barrier-free access, carefully designed for those with mobility issues. Enjoy sitting out on your own private, covered deck after a day of gold panning. You never know your luck!
