Mawimbi lies 250km north of Dar es Salaam on the mainland east coast of Tanzania, on Ushongo beach. The region enjoys year-round temperatures in the range of 25-30C, and a pleasant, consistent sea breeze. The beach is pleasantly devoid of beach peddlers, and safe to stroll on day and night.
