Introducing the island of Alderney’s newest wellness retreat, hosted by boutique hotel, The Blonde Hedgehog.

Alderney is the most northerly located of the Channel Islands, situated eight miles north of Normandy’s coast. Its remote location means that the island provides the ideal spot for a wellness retreat, allowing guests to disconnect from the stresses of the modern world.

The Blonde Hedgehog

The three-day retreat will open visitors’ eyes to the world of astrology, where guests can expect a wide variety of wellness activities from tranquil walking experiences, plant-based feasts and meditation to introductions to astrology, mindful embodiment and moon placing. A typical day at the retreat will involve plenty of time for mindfulness and relaxation, whilst enjoying the luxurious surroundings of the hotel and the rugged landscape of the island. Not only this, but much of the retreat centres around regaining a focus on nature and all it has to offer, including the wide variety of plant-based produce native to the island.

To display the wonders of the island, as well as the hotel’s high-quality cuisine, on the second day guests can expect a banquet cooked on open fires. The hotel has organised its itinerary to provide something for everyone, and ensured that guests are cared for from the moment they step off the boat onto Alderney.
